This is me.

I think it’s time for a proper about me. I’m a 24 year old Hispanic mutt, with a gaming, comic book, and cartoon obsession. Seems immature to most, but it’s what keeps me from going sour when life decides to rough you up.

This tumblr is pretty much filled with pics of foods, Curvy women, strong women, anything inspiring, cute or that gives good information on how to beat your body into strength. And of course video games. I’d die without them.

I was inspired by all the curvy, and strong women on Tumblr, and wanted a page to save all those images, and all the funny ones too. I’m here to take in the inspiration from others, as well. As if playing playing World of Warcraft doesn’t automatically make you go ” …o_o Fuck I’m weak. ” I’m trying to find realistic ways for my broken body to get stronger. Strength is what’s important to me.

When I was 9 years old I had to have back surgery. I have scoliosis, and technically, for the surgery I had, I was supposed to be 18 before they could do it. But mine was so severe they had to operate on me much earlier. Why? By the time they close you up your spine is attached to a metal rod and hooks. Not pretty. They literally had two surgical teams working on my back at once, moved my ribs, to this day my shoulder blades are so uneven sitting back straight on will leave me lopsided or hurt one of my shoulderblades. For an entire year after the surgery I wasn’t even allowed to bend over. Bending over. Something so simple and my back was so weak I couldn’t even RISK it. It’s been hard, even 10 years after the surgery, I was fighting not to become bedridden over any little thing.

My body has finally recovered enough for me to start strength training. Yes, I’m on the bigger side. Do I care? Not really. What bothers me, is how WEAK I am. Because when someone makes fun of the fat girl, it’s not as fun for them when the fat girl can kick their ass ten times over.

Strength. That’s all I ask for.

EDIT 2: In my personal posts I have an updated pic, I’ve had to resort to bronzer to stand up to his mofos color when we take pics. Lucky.. lucky bastard.
